Set Up BLF Keys on Yealink
The following article explains how to set up BLF keys on a Yealink phone and configure the call transfer type.
Note for Cloud PBX customers: If you are using the Virtual-Call Cloud PBX, BLF keys are configured centrally via the PBX administration portal under Extension and Trunk > Extension > Function Keys. The manual configuration described below is only required for SIP trunk customers.
1. Go to the "Memory Keys" tab
- Type: select "BLF"
- Value: enter the account ID of the extension you want to monitor.
- Name: enter the name of the account to be monitored.
- Click "Confirm" to save.
2. Go to the "Features" tab
- Directed Call Pickup: Enable
- Directed Call Pickup Code: *40
Please note that you still need to define the call transfer type under the "Features" tab under 1. Transfer via 2. Dsskey.
Attended Transfer = Transfer with announcement
Blind Transfer = Transfer without announcement
