This article is the central reference for all feature codes of your Virtual-Call Cloud PBX. Feature codes are short key sequences—usually starting with * — that allow users to trigger functions directly from the phone or UC Client without opening the administration portal.
The codes are grouped into categories (voicemail, call forwarding, pickup, recording, presence status, etc.). For most functions, you will also find a dedicated detail article in the Knowledge Base.
Tip: Print the tables in this article or post them as a quick reference at the workplace—that way users always have the most important codes at hand.
Prerequisites
Administrator access to the Virtual-Call Cloud PBX (to customize the codes)
End users only need a phone or the Virtual-Call UC Client
Customizing Feature Codes
All codes listed in this article are default values. Administrators can adjust them at any time.
Navigate to Call Features → Feature Code.
Find the desired section (e.g., “Voicemail”, “Call Forwarding”).
Enable or disable a code via the checkbox.
Adjust the code in the input field.
Click Save.
Important: When you change codes, inform all users and update internal training materials if needed.

Best Practices
Keep the default codes unchanged whenever possible—they are industry standard and documented in many trainings.
Document all changes centrally so that support and users are informed.
Print the most important codes as a quick reference card and distribute them to users.
Map frequently used codes (e.g., listen to voicemail, presence status) additionally to function keys on the desk phones.
Watch out for conflicts: Codes must not overlap with internal extension numbers or other codes.
After adjustments, test each code with a trial call.
