Overview
In Argentina, telecommunications are regulated by ENACOM (Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones). Virtual-Call plans to offer Argentine phone numbers in the near future. This article provides an overview of the regulatory framework.

Regulatory Authority
ENACOM is Argentina's national communications authority. It is responsible for the allocation of phone numbers, the licensing of telecommunications providers, and compliance with technical standards.

Expected Requirements
Based on ENACOM regulations, the following documents will likely be required:
- CUIT number — The Argentine tax identification number (Clave Única de Identificación Tributaria) for companies.
- Proof of Argentine address — Business address in Argentina or an authorized local representative.
- Identity verification — DNI (Documento Nacional de Identidad) of the legal representative.
Porting
Number porting is provided for under Argentine regulations. Details on the porting process through Virtual-Call will be announced at market launch.
Note: Porting of mobile numbers is not offered by Virtual-Call.
