Additional options:
Audio Codecs
In the Codecs section, define which audio codecs the phone uses. The order determines priority during codec negotiation.
Tip: For optimal voice quality, we recommend G.722 (HD Voice) as the preferred codec, followed by G.711a as fallback.
Ringtone
Assign a custom ringtone to the phone:
VLAN Settings
If your network uses VLANs, configure the VLAN ID and priority for the phone here:
LDAP Directory
Connect the phone to an LDAP directory so contacts can be searched directly on the phone display:
Best Practices
- Configure codecs consistently across all phones in the organization.
- Use VLAN to separate voice and data traffic for better call quality.
- Enable LDAP so employees can use the company directory directly on their phone.
