Installing Linkus Desktop Client
Important: Make sure you have administrator rights to install the software.
- Download Installation File
Download the latest version from the official website or from the email sent to you. - Start Installation
Run the installation file and follow the setup wizard instructions. - Accept License Agreement
Read and accept the license agreement. - Choose Installation Folder
Select the desired installation folder or use the default path. - Complete Installation
Wait for the installation to complete and launch the application.
Logging into Linkus Desktop Client
Option 1: Login via Login Link
Prerequisite: You have received a welcome email with a login link.
- Copy Login Link from Email
Copy the login link from the welcome email. - Open Linkus Desktop Client
Launch Linkus Desktop Client and click the QR code icon in the top-right corner. - Paste Login Link
Paste the copied link and click "LOG IN". - Confirm Login
Confirm the login in the pop-up window by clicking "Confirm".
Option 2: One-Click Login from Web Client
Prerequisite: You are already logged into Linkus Web Client and have the Desktop Client installed.
- Find Desktop Client Icon in Web Client
Click the desktop icon in the top bar of Linkus Web Client. - Confirm Application Opening
Confirm in the browser dialog that you want to open the application. - Automatic Login
The Desktop Client opens automatically and you are logged in without further input.
Option 3: Manual Login
- Enter Login Credentials
Enter the following information on the login page:- Username: Your email address
- Password: Your user password
- Domain: Your server's domain name
- Configure Auto-Login (optional)
Select the "Auto Login" option to automatically log in on next startup. - Login
Click "LOG IN". - Two-Factor Authentication (if enabled)
Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app or email.- Optional: Mark device as trusted
- Click "LOG IN"
Alternative Login Methods
Microsoft Account (SSO)
Prerequisite: Your administrator has configured Single Sign-On (SSO) with Microsoft Entra ID.
Click the Microsoft icon on the login page and sign in with your Microsoft credentials.
Active Directory Domain Account
Prerequisite: Your administrator has enabled Active Directory integration.
- Enter your username in the format
username@domainname
- Enter your domain password
- Enter the domain name or server details
Google Account (SSO)
Prerequisite: Your administrator has enabled Google Workspace integration.
- Enter the server address in the Domain field
- Click the Google icon
- Sign in with your Google credentials
Password Reset
Important: You need access to the email address linked to your extension.
- Click "Forget Password?" on the login page
- Enter your extension number and email address
- Enter the domain name
- Click "Send"
- Open the password reset email and follow the link
- Enter your new password twice and click "Save"
Initial Configuration After Login
Change Display Language
- Windows: Right-click the Linkus icon in the system tray → Settings
- macOS: App menu → Linkus Desktop Client → Settings
- Select the desired language from the dropdown list
- Click "Reboot Now"
Configure Auto Startup
- Open Settings (see above)
- Enable "Auto Startup" in the System section
- The client will now start automatically at system startup
Change Notification Position
- Open Settings
- Select your preferred position under "Incoming call pop-up location"
- Default positions: Bottom right (Windows), Top right (macOS)

Problem: Installation fails
- Check if you have administrator rights
- Temporarily disable antivirus software
- Ensure sufficient disk space is available
- Restart your computer and try again
Problem: Login fails
- Check your internet connection
- Verify username, password, and domain
- For 2FA: Ensure system time is correct
