Overview
AI transcription automatically converts calls and voicemails into readable text, while AI text-to-speech reads messages aloud. Use these features when you need a written record of a conversation, want to scan voicemails quickly, or need audio playback of text-based messages.
Prerequisites
- AI transcription must be enabled for your extension by your administrator.
- Applies to plans that include AI features (check with your administrator).
Step-by-Step Configuration
Viewing a call transcript
- Open the Call History module.
- Select a completed call.
- Click Transcript to view the AI-generated text of the conversation.
Viewing a voicemail transcript
- Open the Voicemail module.
- Select a voicemail message.
- The transcript appears automatically below the audio player.
Using text-to-speech
- Go to Settings > AI Features.
- Enable Text-to-Speech and select a voice.
- Text-to-speech will now read out configured messages automatically.

Example: A support agent quickly scans a voicemail transcript to prioritize callbacks instead of listening to each message in full.
Common Issues & Troubleshooting
- Symptom: No transcript is shown.
Cause: AI transcription is not enabled for the extension, or the call language is not supported.
