Overview
The Linkus Desktop Client keeps a record of your call history, voicemails, and recordings in one place. Use this to review past calls, listen to messages, or retrieve recorded conversations.
Prerequisites
- Call recording must be enabled for your extension to see recordings (if applicable).
Step-by-Step Configuration
Call logs
- Open Call History.
- Filter by missed, incoming, or outgoing calls using the tabs at the top.
- Click a call entry to see details or call the number back.
Voicemails
- Open the Voicemail module.
- Play, download, or delete messages.
- Mark messages as read/unread.
Recordings
- Open Call History and select a recorded call (indicated by a recording icon).
- Click Play to listen or Download to save the recording.
Examples
Example: A manager reviews a recorded customer call to confirm details discussed before following up by email.
Common Issues & Troubleshooting
- Symptom: No recording icon appears on a call.
Cause: Call recording was not enabled for that extension or call type.
Solution: Ask your administrator to verify recording settings. - Symptom: Voicemail does not play.
Cause: Audio output device not selected correctly.
Solution: Check the audio device settings in the Linkus Desktop Client.
Best Practices
- Regularly clear old voicemails to keep your inbox organized.
