Accessing Settings
Windows
- Right-click on the Linkus icon in the system tray
- Select "Settings" from the context menu
macOS
- Click on "Linkus Desktop Client" in the menu bar
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
Through the Application
- Open Linkus Desktop Client
- Go to "Preferences" in the navigation bar
User Profile & Basic Settings
Update Personal Information
- Upload Profile Picture
Navigate to Preferences → User → User Information
Click on the profile picture icon and upload a photo - Configure Contact Details
- First Name & Last Name: Your personal details
- Email Address: For voicemail notifications
- Mobile Number: For incoming calls
- System Prompt Language: Language of system prompts
- Click "Save" to store your changes
Language Settings
Requirement: PBX Server version 84.19.0.70 or later required.

Presence Settings
Configure Presence Status
Available Status: Available, Away, Business Trip, Do Not Disturb, Lunch Break, Off Work
- Select Status
Go to Preferences → Presence
Choose a presence status from the list - Configure Call Forwarding
Call Type Forwarding Condition Destination Internal Calls Always / No Answer / When Busy Extension, Voicemail, etc. External Calls Always / No Answer / When Busy Extension, Voicemail, etc. - Set Ring Strategy
Define the order in which your endpoints ring:- Ring First: Primary endpoints
- Ring Secondly: Secondary endpoints
- Configure Ring Timeout
Valid range: 5-300 seconds
Automatic Presence Switching
Prerequisite: System administrator must have configured business hours and holidays.
- Go to Preferences → Features
- Configure desired status for different times in the "Time-conditional Presence Auto Switch" section
- Click "Save"
Audio & Video Settings
Configure Multimedia Devices
Important: Linkus Desktop Client must be in Desktop Client mode (not CTI mode).
- Select Devices
Go to Preferences → Audio & Video
Choose your preferred devices in the "Multimedia Device" section:Device Usage Camera Video calls Microphone Audio input Speaker Audio output Ringing Device Ringtone output - Headset Integration (optional)
For HID-compatible headsets:- Connect the headset via USB to your computer
- Select the headset from the dropdown menu
- Click "Connect Headset"
- Click "Save" to store the settings

Voicemail Settings
Basic Configuration
- Enable Voicemail
Go to Preferences → Voicemail
Enable "Enable Voicemail" - Set PIN Authentication
- Enabled: PIN required for voicemail access
- Disabled: Direct access without PIN
- Configure Email Notifications

Manage Voicemail Greetings
Limit: Maximum 10 custom greetings per user.
- Upload Greeting
Supported formats: .wav, .mp3 (max. 8 MB)- PCM, 8K, 16bit, 128kbps
- A-law (g.711), 8k, 8bit, 64kbps
- u-law (g.711), 8k, 8bit, 64kbps
- Record Greeting
- Click "Record New Greeting"
- Enter a filename
- Select your extension
- Answer the call and record your greeting
Call Settings
Call Handling Based on Caller ID
- Create Rule
Go to Preferences → Features → Call Handling Based on Caller ID
Click "Add" - Define Caller ID
- Specific Number: e.g., 10086
- Number Pattern: e.g., 9011. (all numbers starting with 9011)
- Set Action
- Hang Up
- Forward to Extension
- Forward to Voicemail
- Forward to IVR
- Play Greeting then Hang up
- Accept Call
Auto-Answer Functions
Requirement: Linkus Desktop Client version 1.8.3 or later required.

🔧 Troubleshooting
Problem: Settings are not saved
- Check if you're logged in as administrator
- Ensure the client is not installed as read-only
- Restart the client and try again
Problem: Audio/Video devices not detected
- Check device drivers in system settings
