Making Calls
- Enter Number
Use the dial field in the top toolbar or open the dialpad. - Select Call Type
Click on:- 🕻 Audio Call: For normal voice calls
- 📹 Video Call: For video calls (if supported)
- Choose Outbound Caller ID (optional)
Select a specific DOD number from the dropdown menu if needed. - Start Call
The call is established and you see the call interface.

Call Transfer
Two Types of Transfer: Blind (immediate) and attended (with consultation)
Blind Transfer
- Activate Transfer Function
Click "Transfer" → "Blind Transfer" during an active call. - Select Destination
Choose from contact list or enter number manually. - Complete Transfer
The call is immediately transferred to the destination.
Attended Transfer
- Activate Transfer Function
Click "Transfer" → "Attended Transfer". - Consult First
Speak with the destination first about the transfer. - Confirm Transfer
Click "Transfer" to complete the process.
Call Hold and Resume

Activating CTI Mode
Prerequisite: uaCSTA feature must be enabled on the PBX server.
- Check Connected Device
Ensure your IP phone or Web Client is registered with the same extension. - Select CTI Mode
Click the CTI icon in the top toolbar and select the desired device. - Confirm Connection
The Desktop Client shows CTI status and you can control the external device.

Call Flip and Mobility
Call Flip Between Devices
Prerequisite: Your extension must be registered on multiple devices.
- Start Call Flip
Click "Call Flip" during an active call. - Select Target Device
Choose the device you want to transfer the call to. - Answer Call on New Device
Accept the incoming call on the target device. - Seamless Transfer
The conversation continues without interruption.
Retrieve Call to Desktop Client
- Click "Call Switch" in the top bar
- Select the active call from another device
- The call is seamlessly transferred to the Desktop Client
Call Recording and Notes
Recording Calls
Permission Required: Your administrator must grant you permission to record calls.
- Click the recording icon during an active call
- Recording starts immediately
- An announcement may indicate recording is active (depending on configuration)
- Click again to stop recording
Adding Call Notes
Available from: PBX Server 84.18.0.102 and Linkus Desktop Client 1.11.7
- Open Notes Panel
Click "Call Notes" during a call. - Select Disposition Code
Choose an appropriate code from the dropdown list. - Add Remarks
Enter important information in the remarks field. - Save Notes
Click "Save" to store the notes.
🔧 Troubleshooting
Problem: No audio output during calls
- Check audio devices in settings
- Ensure microphone and speakers are correctly selected
- Test devices with other applications
- Check browser permissions for microphone access
Problem: CTI mode not working
- Check if uaCSTA is enabled on the server
- Ensure IP phone is registered with the same extension
- Check CTI settings on the IP phone
- Restart both Desktop Client and IP phone
Problem: Call flip not working
- Check if your extension is registered on multiple devices
- Ensure all devices are online
- Try a normal call between devices
- Contact your administrator for extension configuration
Problem: Video calls not possible
- Check if Ultimate Plan is activated
- Ensure video codecs (VP8/H264) are enabled
- Check camera permissions in browser
- Test camera in other applications
Problem: Conference functions not available
- Ensure you are in Desktop Client mode
- Check if you are the conference host
- Try with fewer participants (max. 9)
