Directory Overview
Contact Categories

Accessing the Directory
- Open Directory
Tap "Directory" in the bottom navigation bar. - Select Category
Choose the desired contact category from the top-left dropdown. - Browse Contacts
Use the search function or scroll through the list.
Managing Personal Contacts
Adding a New Personal Contact
Note: Personal contacts are synchronized across all your Linkus UC clients and are visible only to you.
Method 1: Add Manually
- Create New Contact
Go to Directory → Contacts and tap the plus symbol (+) in the top-right corner. - Enter Contact Information
Fill in the contact details:- First name and last name
- Phone numbers (home, business, mobile)
- Email address
- Company and position
- Add to Personal Contacts
In the "Add to" section, select "Personal Contacts". - Add Remark (optional)
In the "Remark" field, add a short description about the contact. - Save Contact
Tap the save icon in the top-right corner.
Method 2: Add from Company Contacts
- Go to Directory → Contacts
- Select "Company Contacts" or the corresponding phonebook from the top-left
- Tap the desired company contact
- Tap "Add to Personal Contacts"
Method 3: Add from Phone Contacts
Prerequisite: You must have granted Linkus permission to access your phone contacts.
- Go to Directory → Phone
- Tap the desired contact
- Tap "Add to Contacts"
- Edit the contact information as needed
- Select "Personal Contacts" in the "Add to" section
- Save the contact
Method 4: Add from Call History
- Go to Calls → Call Logs
- Tap the info icon (i) next to the desired entry
- Tap the plus symbol (+)
- Select "Add to Contacts"
- Choose between "New Contact" or "Add to Existing Contact"
Editing and Deleting Personal Contacts
Edit Contact
- Go to Directory → Contacts
- Select "Personal Contacts" from the top-left
- Tap the desired contact
- Tap the edit icon in the top-right corner
- Make the desired changes
- Save the changes
Delete Contact
- Open the contact for editing
- Scroll down and tap "Delete"
- Confirm the deletion in the pop-up window
Managing Company Contacts
Prerequisite: Your system administrator must have granted you permission to manage company contacts or specific phonebooks.
Adding Company Contact
Note: Company contacts are synchronized across all Linkus UC clients and the server, and shared with other authorized colleagues.
Add Manually
- Create New Company Contact
Go to Directory → Contacts and tap the plus symbol (+). - Enter Contact Information
Fill in all relevant fields. - Add to Company Contacts
In the "Add to" section, select "Company Contacts" and then the desired phonebook. - Save
Tap the save icon in the top-right corner.
Add from Personal Contacts
- Select a personal contact
- Tap "Add to Company Contacts"
- Select the phonebook where the contact should be stored
Editing and Deleting Company Contacts
Edit Company Contact
- Go to Directory → Contacts
- Select "Company Contacts" or the corresponding phonebook
- Tap the desired contact
- Tap the edit icon in the top-right corner
- Make changes and save
Delete Company Contact
- Open the company contact for editing
- Tap "Delete" at the bottom
- Confirm the deletion
Favorite Contacts
Requirements:
- Linkus iOS Client version 5.4.4 or later
- Linkus Android Client version 5.4.9 or later
Mark Contact as Favorite
Method 1: Via Contact Details
- Open Contact
Go to Directory → Contacts and tap the desired contact. - Mark as Favorite
On the contact details page, tap the star icon next to the contact name. - Confirmation
The contact is marked as favorite and appears in the favorites list.
Method 2: Directly from List
- Find the desired contact in the list
- Tap the star icon to the right of the contact
- The contact is immediately added to favorites
Remove Favorite Contact
- Go to Directory → Contacts
- Select "Favorite Contacts" from the top-left
- Tap the desired contact
- Tap the filled star icon next to the contact name
- The contact is removed from the favorites list

Grant Permission for Phone Contacts
- Open the Linkus app
- Go to Directory → Phone
- Grant permission to access contacts when prompted
- Your phone contacts will now be displayed in Linkus
