Video Calls
Requirements:
- Server version 84.13.0.25 or later with Ultimate Plan
- Linkus iOS Client version 5.0.13+ or Android Client version 5.3.12+
- Stable internet connection
Restriction: Only 1:1 video calls are supported.
Starting a Video Call

Video Call Functions
- Switch Audio to Video: Tap video icon during an audio call
- Minimize Window: Minimize icon for picture-in-picture mode
- Switch Camera: Toggle between front and back camera
- Switch View: Toggle between main view and thumbnail
Multi-party Calls
Restriction: Maximum 3 additional participants can be added (total of 5 participants).
Adding Participants to Active Call
- Add Participant
During an active call, tap the plus (+) symbol (Add Participant). - Invite Participants
Choose one of the following methods:- Contacts: Invite participants from your Linkus directory
- Dialpad: Dial number directly
- Call Logs: Invite participants from call history
- Manage Participants
Tap the menu icon in the top right for:- Mute/unmute participants
- Remove participants from call
Call Flip Between Devices
Requirements:
- Linkus iOS Client version 4.9.5+ or Android Client version 4.9.6+
- Your extension is registered on multiple devices
Switch Call to Another Device
- Activate Call Flip
During an active call, tap the Call Flip icon. - Select Target Device
All other devices where your extension is registered are displayed. Tap the desired device. - Answer Call
Answer the call on the selected device. The call is seamlessly transferred.
Take Over Call from Another Device
- Start Call Switch
If you have an active call on another device, tap "Touch here to start call switch" at the top of Linkus. - Select Call
The active call is displayed. Tap on it to take it over.
Call Transfer
Types of Call Transfer

Performing Blind Transfer
- Activate Transfer
During an active call, tap "Blind" on the call screen. - Select Destination
Choose the transfer destination:- Contacts from directory
- Enter number via dialpad
- Contact from call logs
- Complete Transfer
Current call is disconnected and the other person receives the call.
Performing Attended Transfer
- Start Attended Transfer
Tap "Attended" on the call screen. The call is put on hold. - Call Target Person
Select the target person (same as blind transfer). - Pass Information
Speak with the target person and pass relevant information. - Complete Transfer
Tap "Attended" to complete the transfer.
Additional Call Functions
Hold and Resume Call
- Hold Call: Tap the Hold icon during a call
- Resume Call: Tap the Hold icon again
Record Call
Requirement: Your system administrator must have granted you permission to record calls.
- Tap the Record icon during an active call
- Both parties may hear an announcement (depending on configuration)
- Recording continues until the end of the call
Enable/Disable Call Waiting
Enable Call Waiting
- Go to your account → Settings → Advanced
- Turn on the "Call Waiting" switch
- For incoming calls during a conversation, you have these options:
- Hang up: End current call and answer new one
- Reject: Reject incoming call
- Answer: Hold current call and answer new one
Disable Call Waiting
- Turn off the "Call Waiting" switch
- Incoming calls during conversations are routed to voicemail or configured forwarding
Auto Answer Functions
Requirements:
- Linkus iOS Client version 5.8.2+ or Android Client version 5.8.3+
Auto Answer for Regular Calls
- Enable Feature
Go to Settings → Advanced and enable "Auto Answer". - Configure Settings
- Play Auto Answer Tone: Beep sound on automatic answer
- Auto Answer Delay Time: 0-60 seconds waiting time
Auto Answer for Paging/Intercom
- Enable Feature

Select Outbound Caller ID (DOD)
Requirements:
- PBX Server version 84.16.0.25 or later
- Linkus Mobile Client version 5.6.6 or later
- Permission to select caller IDs
DOD Selection Methods

Call Notes
Requirements:
- PBX Server version 84.18.0.102 or later
- Linkus iOS Client version 5.13.6+ or Android Client version 5.13.8+
- Administrator has configured call notes and granted permission
Adding Call Notes
- Open Notes Panel
During an active call, tap "Call Notes". - Add Tags and Remarks
- Select Call Disposition: Choose a disposition code
- Remark: Enter a brief description
- Save Notes
Tap "Save". Notes are available in call logs after the call.

Problem: Video call not working
- Check if your server has subscribed to Ultimate Plan
- Ensure ICE (Interactive Connectivity Establishment) is enabled
- Go to Settings → Audio Options → ICE
- Check your internet connection and camera/microphone permissions
Problem: Call flip not working
- Ensure your extension is registered on multiple devices
- Check if all devices are online and reachable
- Try logging out and back in on one of the devices
Problem: Auto answer not activating
- Check if you're using the minimum app version
