Internal Chat
Features: Emoji, images, file sharing, automatic synchronization across all Linkus UC clients
Starting an Internal Chat
- Open Chat Section
Go to Chat → Internal Chat. - Create New Chat
Tap the plus (+) symbol in the top-right corner and select "Create Group". - Select Participants
Search for colleagues and select them. Tap "OK". - Determine Chat Type
- 1:1 Chat: Appears for the other participant after the first message
- Group Chat: Automatically appears in the chat list of all group members
Managing Group Chat
Change Group Chat Name
- Open the desired chat
- Tap the info icon in the top-right corner
- On the Chat Information page, tap "Group Name"
- Enter a new group name and save the change
Add Members
- Open Chat Information
Open the chat and tap the info icon in the top-right corner. - Add Member
Tap "Add Member". - Select Colleagues
Search for the desired colleagues, select them, and tap "OK".
Remove Members (Group Admins Only)
- Go to Chat Information → Members
- Tap the edit icon in the top-right corner
- Select checkboxes of members to remove
- Tap "Remove" in the bottom-right corner
Managing Chat History
Clear Chat History
- Open the desired chat
- Go to Chat Information
- Tap "Clear Chat History"
- Confirm deletion in the pop-up window
Remove Chat from List
- Long press the desired chat in the chat list
- Tap "Delete the chat" in the pop-up window
Leave Group Chat
- Go to Chat Information
- Tap "Leave Group"
- Confirm in the pop-up window
Note: After leaving, you can view chat history but cannot send or receive new messages.
External Chat
Requirements:
- PBX Server version 84.12.0.57 or later
- Enterprise Plan or Ultimate Plan
- At least one messaging channel set up on PBX
- Linkus iOS Client version 5.2.9+ or Android Client version 4.13.16+

Configure Notifications
Chat-Specific Notifications
Mute Notifications for Individual Chat
- Open Chat Information
Open the desired chat and tap the info icon in the top-right corner. - Enable Mute
Turn on the "Mute Notifications" switch. - Result
- Chat is marked with a mute icon
- You no longer receive push notifications
- New messages shown with red dot instead of count
Unmute
- Turn off the "Mute Notifications" switch
- You will receive push notifications for new messages again

Access: Your Account → Settings → New Message Alerts

Go to Your Account → Settings → New Message Alerts. - Customize Options
- New Message Alerts: On/Off for push notifications
- Sound: On/Off for audio signals (Android only)
- Desktop/Web Client Behavior: On/Off for mobile notifications when desktop active
- Save Settings

- Tap the phone icon in the top-right corner
- Choose between audio or video call
- Call is sent to all chat participants

Note: Export functions are administrator-dependent and may not be available.

- Look for export options
- Select desired format (if available)
- Export is processed and provided
🔧 Troubleshooting
Problem: Messages not syncing
- Check your internet connection
- Ensure you're logged in with the same account on all devices
- Restart the Linkus app

Problem: No push notifications
