The UC Client tab contains the settings for the softphone applications of an extension. Here you enable or disable the Mobile Client, Desktop Client, and Web Client and configure options such as call waiting, auto answer, and call popup for each client individually.
Note: This tab is displayed as “Linkus Clients” in the PBX. “Linkus” is the technical name of the UC client application.
Access the UC Client Tab
- Log in to the Cloud PBX administration portal.
- Navigate to Extension and Trunk > Extension.
- Click the edit icon next to the desired extension.
- Select the Linkus Clients tab.
Prerequisite: For a user to log in to the UC Client, an email address must be configured for the extension (User tab). Without an email address, login will fail.
Mobile Client
Configure the UC Client for mobile devices (iOS and Android):

| Login QR Code | Displays a QR code that the user can scan to log in to the mobile client directly. |

| Call Waiting | When enabled, a second incoming call is signaled while the user is already on a call. |
| Auto Answer | When enabled, incoming calls are answered automatically. |
| Auto Answer Paging/Intercom Call | When enabled, paging and intercom calls are answered automatically. |
Desktop Client
Configure the UC Client for Windows and macOS:

| Call Popup—Popup URL | When enabled, the desktop client automatically opens a configured URL when an incoming call is received (e.g., a CRM system). The caller ID can be passed as a variable in the URL. |
Web Client
Configure the UC Client for the browser:

Currently Logged-in Devices
At the bottom of the tab, you can see an overview of all devices currently logged in to the UC Client for this extension:

| Device Name | Name and type of the logged-in device (e.g., “Windows,Chrome”). |
| Platform | The client platform: mobile client, desktop client, or Web Client. |
| Last login time | Date and time of the last login. |
| Remark | Optional text field for notes about the device. |
| Operations | Actions such as remotely logging out the device. |
Important Notes
- Email address required: Without an email address configured for the extension, the user cannot log in to the UC Client. The email is configured in the User tab.
- Auto Answer: Use this option with care—it automatically answers every incoming call without requiring user confirmation.
- Call Popup: The popup URL feature is particularly useful for CRM integration. The caller's phone number is passed as a variable in the popup URL, allowing the associated customer record to open automatically.
- Log out devices: From the device list, you can remotely end individual UC Client sessions. This is useful when a device has been lost or is no longer in use.

Login with Extension Number
Users can now log into the Virtual-Call UC Client using their extension number. This login method can be enabled via the UC Client Login Mode setting (Path: Extension and Trunk > Extension > UC Client Server > Basic).
Client Permission: Upload Avatar
New permission item Upload Avatar in client permissions (Path: Extension and Trunk > Client Permission > Preference Settings > Configuration Item). This controls whether users can change their avatar via the UC Client.
Note:
For the UC Mobile Client, users must use at least the following versions:
- iOS Client: Version 5.25.15 or later
- Android Client: Version 5.25.14 or later
