AI
The AI tab allows you to configure AI-powered transcription features for an extension. You can enable automatic transcription for calls and voicemails and set the recognition language.
Access the AI Tab
- Log in to the Cloud PBX administration portal.
- Navigate to Extension and Trunk > Extension.
- Click the edit icon next to the desired extension.
- Select the AI tab.
Call Transcription
This section configures automatic transcription of phone calls:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Automatic Call Transcription | Enables automatic speech-to-text conversion of phone calls. When enabled, calls for this extension are automatically transcribed. |
| Show Transcription Text After the Call | When enabled, the transcription result is displayed in the UC Client after the call ends. |
| Language * | The language for speech recognition. Select Follow System to use the system-wide configured language, or choose a specific language for this extension. |
Voicemail Transcription
This section configures automatic transcription of voicemail messages:

| Automatic Voicemail Transcription | Enables automatic speech-to-text conversion of voicemail messages. When enabled, new voicemails for this extension are automatically transcribed, and the text is displayed in the UC Client. |
| Language * | The language for voicemail speech recognition. Select Follow System to use the system-wide configured language, or choose a specific language. |
Important Notes
- System language: The Follow System option in the language dropdown uses the language configured by the administrator in the global AI settings of the PBX.
- Supported languages: The available transcription languages depend on the PBX configuration. Contact your administrator if the required language is not available.
- Call recording: Call transcription requires the call to be recorded. Ensure that call recording is enabled for the extension if you want to use automatic call transcription.
- UC Client: Transcription results are displayed in the UC Client—for both calls and voicemails.
