Overview: Linkus Web Client provides centralized contact management for company phonebooks and personal contacts. You can view, add, edit contacts and directly call or message them.
Contacts Overview
Available Contact Types

Managing Company Contacts
Permission Required: To view and manage company contacts, you need appropriate permissions from the system administrator.
Viewing Company Contacts
- Open Contacts Section
Log in to Linkus Web Client and click "Contacts" in the left navigation bar. - Select Phonebook
Select the desired company phonebook from the dropdown list at the top left. - View Contact Details
Click on a contact card to view detailed information.
Adding New Company Contact
Permission Required: You need "Manage Phonebooks (Add, Edit, Delete)" permission from the administrator.
Add Directly in Phonebook
- Select the desired phonebook from the dropdown list
- Click "Add"
- Enter the contact information
- Click "Save"
Add from Personal Contacts
- Switch to "Personal Contacts"
- Find the desired contact and click the action icon
- Select "Add to Phonebooks"
- Select the desired phonebook and click "Confirm"
Add from Call Logs
- Go to "Call Logs"
- Right-click on a call entry
- Select "Add New Contact"
- Choose "Company Contacts" and the desired phonebook
- Complete the contact information and click "Save"
Editing Company Contact
- Select the appropriate phonebook
- Find the desired contact and click the edit icon
- Make the desired changes
- Click "Save"
Deleting Company Contact
- Find the desired contact in the appropriate phonebook
- Click the action icon and select "Delete"
- Confirm the deletion with "OK"
Managing Personal Contacts
Viewing Personal Contacts
- Click "Contacts" in the left navigation bar
- Select "Personal Contacts" from the dropdown list at the top left
- Click on a contact card for detailed information
Adding New Personal Contact
Add Directly
- Select "Personal Contacts" from the dropdown list
- Click "Add"
- Enter the contact information
- Click "Save"
Add from Company Phonebook
- Select the appropriate company phonebook
- Find the desired contact and click the action icon
- Select "Add to Personal Contacts"
Add from Other Areas
You can also add contacts from call logs, voicemails, or recordings to your personal contacts by right-clicking on an entry and selecting "Add New Contact".
Editing Personal Contact
- Select "Personal Contacts"
- Find the desired contact and click the edit icon
- Make the desired changes
- Click "Save"
Deleting Personal Contact
- Find the contact in your personal contacts
- Click the action icon and select "Delete"
- Confirm the deletion with "OK"
Importing and Exporting Contacts
Exporting Personal Contacts
- Select "Personal Contacts"
- Click "Export"
- A CSV file will be downloaded to your computer
Importing Personal Contacts
File Requirements:
- Format: UTF-8 .CSV
- Size: Less than 300 MB
- Filename: Less than 127 characters
- Select "Personal Contacts"
- Click "Import"
- Click "Browse" and select your CSV file
- Click "Import"
Tip: Export your existing contacts first as a template to ensure the correct CSV format.
Managing Favorite Contacts
Marking Contact as Favorite
- Find the desired contact (personal or company contact)
- Click the action icon
- Select "Add to Favorite Contacts"
Viewing Favorite Contacts
- Select "Favorite Contacts" from the dropdown list
- All contacts marked as favorites will be displayed
Removing Contact from Favorites
- Select "Favorite Contacts"
- Find the contact and click the action icon
- Select "Remove from Favorite Contacts"
Using Contacts for Calls
Direct Call from Contacts
- Navigate to the desired contact
- Click the appropriate icon:
- 📞 for audio call to main number
- 🎥 for video call
- 📱 for call to mobile number
Using Search Function
Search Criteria: You can search by name, phone numbers, email addresses, or company names.
- Enter the name, number, or other information in the search bar
- Select the desired contact from the search results
- Click the appropriate action icon for the call
🔧 Troubleshooting
Problem: No permission for company contacts
- Contact your system administrator
- Request "View Phonebooks" or "Manage Phonebooks" permission
- Check if you are assigned to the correct user group
Problem: Contact import fails
- Check the file format (must be UTF-8 CSV)
- Ensure file size is under 300 MB
- Use an exported file as template for correct format
- Remove special characters from contact data
- Check if all required fields are filled
Problem: Contact cannot be found
- Check search terms for typos
- Try partial search (first name only or partial number)
- Switch between different phonebooks
- Check if contact may have been deleted
Problem: Call from contacts doesn't work
- Check your audio settings in Web Client
- Ensure you are in the correct mode (Web Client vs. CTI)
- Verify the stored phone number is correct
- Test a call using the dialpad
Problem: Contact synchronization not working
- Refresh the page and try again
- Check your internet connection
- Log out and log back in
